The other day I popped into town to pick up my new iPhone 4s, and decided to take a break from web design in Northampton and instead test the new camera on the iPhone 4s. I thought I would take a series of photos called “Look up in Northampton” This is because when you are in Town everybody seems to be walking with their head down or focused straight in front. If you can spare 5 minutes to just look up at the buildings you realise Northampton has some fantastic architecture in Northampton town alone. Their are Art Nouveau & Art Deco Buildings such as Watts & Sons, Ridings Arcade and the Rene Macintosh house Number 78 Derngate.
The Guild Hall is an Amazing building and we are lucky enough to have the Derngate and Royal Theatre where they play London quality performances. Allsaints Church is great to have an makes a nice centre piece to Northampton town. I hope you enjoy these photos and you can really see how good the quality of the camera is built into the iPhone 4s, this is the first phone I have owned where I can trust it to produce a quality photograph. Next time you are in Northampton or any other City such as London then please look up at the buildings.
