Smart Phone on Holiday

Your smart phone is the one essential item to take with you on holiday. It has everything that you need, so all you need to do is pack your smart phone and leave everything else behind. There is no longer any need to take a separate camera, music player, map or journal. Just make sure that you pack your phone charger and you will have everything that you need.

Camera

Why take a camera on holiday when you already have one on your phone. Over the years the camera that manufacturers have put on phones has improved dramatically. The quality is now just as good as one that you would get on a portable instant camera. The great thing about taking photographs on your phone is that you can then instantly send them to friends and family and also upload them onto popular social networking sites. You can also take a selfie using the front camera on your smart phone for an easy way to have photographs with the person or people you are on holiday with.

Music Player

If you have a long journey ahead of you then put your favourite songs onto your smart phone to make your journey to that special holiday destination even better. You can also listen to music on your phone whilst chilling out in the sun, getting that golden glow. You can make up playlists on your smart phone of your favourite songs, or particular holiday songs that suit your holiday mood.

Watch Television and Films

You can download television apps so that you can catch up with various television programmes. You can also download various films onto your smart phone to watch. Downloading films onto your smart phone is great for the journey so that you have something to watch, which will make your journey appear to be quicker.

Maps

If you get lost whilst you are abroad and have taken a wrong turn, then the maps facility on your phone is the perfect way to get you back on track. If you are working out how to get to that point of interest then use the maps to direct you on your way. Maps makes it easier for you on holiday and means that you no longer have to carry around large fold-up maps with you. The only thing that you will need is a good Internet connection. Most hotels offer free WiFi so that you are able to look at maps to get an idea of where you are going before you venture out.

Contact

Stay in touch with your friends and family whilst you are abroad by either messaging, phoning, emailing or talking on social media. There is no longer a need to send a postcard, which most of the time turns up a week or so after you have returned back from your holiday, you can take lots of snaps and email pictures to your friends and family so that they can instantly see where you are and what you are up to.
